Hi, we're Rolf & Susan. Welcome to our rental site.
We are retired wedding photographers and we are easy going and friendly. It's important to us that you have an enjoyable stay here. We are sensitive to your needs.
This furnished half duplex is for rent. Our house is truly centrally located in the Berkshires. Just 5 minutes to The Berkshire Mall. It is only 2 blocks from the rails to trails bike path called Ashiwilticook Trail, it's a 23 mile ride if you do the whole trail.
This house and
the small village is registered on the National Historic Registry. This
community was a lime stone quarry mill since the early 1800s.
We have a book, "Working in Stone" by Lucia Saradoff. It's all
about our community and the Italian immigrants that lived in this self
contained village. It even had it own post office with our own zip code
until 1970 when the mill closed due to environmental law changes. It use
to be called Farnums, MA. It had it's own school and general store.
